Description

This education session aims to assist doctors to develop better skills in providing care for other doctors and to enhance their knowledge of current best practice, underpinned by evidence and supported by an appropriate knowledge of the medico-legal framework relevant to their work in this field.


Practice managers and nurses who would like to enhance their knowledge on doctors health and welbeing are also welcome to attend.

Areas to be covered:

  • Explain the health of doctors in our community in Qld and thus enhance the quality of care provided by doctors.
  • Manage mental and physical health issues reported by doctor-patients by empowering them to seek formal health care with an independent GP and other relevant care
  • Identify key resources available to support doctors who have serious health issues
  • Understand the current mandatory reporting requirements in Queensland
